This is a fairly standard Hoffman scenario. Beck puts out a new album and receives a lot of attention. I immidiately run out and get a copy of his last album, “Sea Change,” from 2002. On first listen, it is terrific. He has dropped his schtick entirely but keeps in ingenuity. I expect I will be playing this an awful lot.
