An odd little story about a lost homing pigeon who brings psychological strength to an injured boy and an artist living in the most strangely designed apartment building in modern Prague. Meanwhile, the jazzy brother and sultry sister in (I think) Lithuania sulk in their gorgeous seaside home awaiting the bird’s return. The story, frankly, is half-baked, but Jan CurĂk’s camerawork is among some of the most outstanding I’ve ever seen. Hats off to Facets for uncovering another Czech gem.
