What slipped by as good, wholesome fun in 1942 would today be banned by every right wing group in America. A snappy, peppy screwball comedy about, in essence, pedophilia! But if you try not to focus too hard on that aspect of it — you’ll have a good time with this lovable film. Ginger Rogers, as if she wasn’t adorable enough au natural, dresses as an 11 year old and talks full of gee whizes. Awkward feelings in the audience ensue.
