Q shows Picard what it would have been like had he not acted like a big fat douche in his younger days and gotten in a fight with the Nausican that would stab him and keep him in need of an artificial heart for the rest of his days. Had Picard not nearly died he would have been – a nobody! A snivelling little junior grade science officier. H-w-hwaaa?
