You’ve only got a few more days to see Silent Migration, a show by Brandon Ballangée that is up at The Arsenal Gallery. (The Arsenal is that scary building near the Central Park Zoo across from the giant synagogue.)

The show details the extinction of varios types of birds. Most touching was the reproductions of Audubon (or Audubon-like) drawings with everything in the picture inctact, except for the carved-out and missing bird. This may sound hokey, but en masse it is very effective.
