Absolutely charming love story between a fish market cop and a coffee shop girl. It’s amazing, ’cause even when Spencer Tracy was young he looked old. Joan Bennett is as cute as Myrna Loy or Ginger Rogers. Plenty o’ zingers and Irish stereotypes — plus all the Al Smith jokes you could shake a stick at. Ann & I both loved this.
