The other day I mentioned that I had a view of the Empire State Building from my apartment and they thought I was kidding. I am not. So here — submitted for your approval, is the actual flashing red light and illuminated spire of the ESB.
Now — I know this looks like images from the opening of the X Files — but ya gotta trust me. There are issues:
1 – I don’t have a tripod.
2 – If I used a flash all I’d get back was flash
3 – There is a tree in the way, so the auto-focus auto-screws it up.
4 – It is, yes, kinda far away.
But it looks *much* better in person.
Dude, those are just pictures of aliens. Anyone can tell that. I still don’t believe you. 😉
