A very standard, predictable film about a love triangle in Mumbai between a rich bitch American on sabbatical, the working class schnook she takes advantage of and the brooding artist who finds inspiration in being remote (but loving The People from afar.)

There’s no cliche the film doesn’t love, and it does nothing but perpetuate class stereotypes. Major elevation points, however, for showing us modern day Mumbai.

I loved this director’s previous work, Lagaan, but this one, even if its heart is in the right place, kinda stinks.
