A two-parter in one (if that makes any sense) – this episode features what should be a really striking moment: Seven of Nine’s return to the Collective. It is only okay. Even filling in more of her backstory is. . . only okay.
And I don’t know why.
I don’t know why Voyager is just so. . . okay. I mean, compared to a normal television show it is marvelous, but as Trek Qua Trek it just doesn’t sing.
The Janeway/Seven scenes are always nice, though. Hence all the slash.
