Not just a great writer but a fascinating and unique public figure – Kurt Vonnegut has died at 84 a few weeks after a bad fall. It wasn’t that long ago I saw him walking a tiny white poodle outside the United Nations. One can only imagine what he was letting that dog do in front of a giant, global institution.
A real downer to open up the paper this morning and read this….and why is Cheney still alive?
