I’m not an ogre. When Precious finally breaks down and cries “Nobody love me!” it is heartbreaking. It’s just a shame the rest of the after school special has the subtlety of one of those frying pans Precious’ mother smashes against your head.
Good performances, silly script and some truly bad directing at times (so much slo-mo! and an Italian movie dream sequence? Are you kidding me?)
