One of the more French movies out there, this exercise in tedium is something of a marvel in its very watchability. It is a filmed play, so very slow and with only three sets. Its quite deliberate pace tells the tale of a love triangle amidst 1920s orchestra musicians. And yet there is absolutely no music score – hardly any cutting at all, actually, as every damned molecule of the play is filmed in flat master.

I don’t know how the hell I stayed awake for this. More striking – I kinda liked it!!
