I Just Called to Say, “You Suck.”

So I didn’t get that job. It would’ve been a great place for me to learn a lot of shit and a real gold star on my resume. But here are the sour grapes: 10 am -7 pm hours (plus 1 hr each way commute each way) for $27,500 starting salary.

That does indeed suck. I’m only making a little bit less than that now working 5-9 pm hours with 20 min commute — with no office politics or hassles. [The place I interviewed did seem rather “cool” and devoid of politics, but you never can tell.]

Granted, where I am right now is doing about as much for my career as bagging groceries, but. . .um. . .I’m not working and commuting long hours for shit wages. So there.
