Even though this might be Michael Snow’s most “fun to watch” movie (and at feature length, the most “movie” of his movies) I must admit that I found it a little shallow. Basically, it feels like a dorky kid playing with all the different permutations of the effects preferences on his editing software. Also, allowing the open mike so that Snow’s direction to crew and cast is heard throughout the film is, indeed, a noble concept, but in my mind it deadens the otherworldliness Snow achieves in his other films. But it does add for jokes. This is a funny film about wacky shit happening to people in an office.
