I’m not kidding when I say the recent batch of DC Animated features have been absolutely top notch. The best has been Wonder Woman which, I swear, if it was twenty or thirty minutes longer could have gotten a theatrical release. The omnibus collection Batman: Gotham Knight is a genuine work of art and Green Lantern: First Flight is hardcore fun nerdass shit.
This one, however, is a disappointment. It’s a bore – just a collection of fight scenes. If you are a hardcore DC fanatic you may get a kick out of seeing some deep cut characters but, other than, that, it is just standard. Hey, you can’t win them all.
