There’s plenty still in the fridge if you wanna taste.

First, blanche some beefsteak tomatoes:

Then, puree:

Take a boatload of garlic:

Throw ’em on a skillet with a boatload of onions:

Sautee with a boatload of cumin and cayenne:

Chop more tomatoes:

Add some secret ingredients, but don’t tell anyone. Let them think there’s nothing in there from a can. In addition to some V8, a little can of Tomato Paste is essential.

Chop up a fresh jalapeno:

Did you know Corriander and Cilantro are the same herb? What we think of as Corriander is the seed, all ground up. Use the leaves and some of the stems for Fresca Salsa. There’s no such thing as too much.

Then add hot sauce. I didn’t take any pictures of this. Nor did I take pictures of the finished product. I may’ve simply got so excited I forgot about posterity.
