Francois Truffaut is in the Cinematheque in the sky, smiling on Linklater and Co. A breathtaking 85 minute real-time walk through remorse, regret and rejuvination. I do think you have to’ve seen the first film to totally get this, but it is worth it to put in your time. A much more mature film (well, duh) but they’re still the same people. A major achievement, not anything like the “little film” it appears to be. And Julie Delpy can sing!
