I really respect actors who are able to say ridiculous lines of dialogue and really SELL it. Michael Ironside can really do this. (Malin Ackerman, alas, can not, and that is one of the major reasons Watchmen has problems.) The cast of Deep Space Nine are fuckin’ pros like it is no one’s business. How anyone can talk about “having an Orb experience” and have it actually have emotional resonance…..it is a miraculous achievement.
Anyway, fun to see our friend Vedek Bareil to come back, even if it is his mirror universe evil twin.
