This is where the people behind The Next Generation kinda flipped the bird to The Original Series. They had to a little. They’d survived the third season, when the orignal got canned, and kept going with full force. In fact, they ended with a two-parter that ranked in awesomeness with anything you’ll find in the annals of Kirk and Spock. Arguement is irrelevant. TNG rules!
