Alarmingly boring. A full 27 minutes (of 54) pass before anything, anything happens. I counted. When a plot point comes, it is straight out of the Young and the Restless. The last shot, of a bee trapped in a glass of juice, is the only interesting thing here. The rest: snooze.
[...] The Decalogue takes a little side trip into Boringvanyia this time. A lot of meta-wanking as a student presents the plot of Decalogue 2 to discuss as an ethical dillema. This is pushed aside as we discover hidden secrets between the professor and a visiting guest. They do a lot of talking, take a Rod Serling-like walk past old buildings, then talk some more. I see what they’re doing here, but I’m not responding to it. The revelations are not all that interesting and the whole enterprise is blah blah blah. [...]
