If there are any more episodes like “Haven” out there, I may just cancel this whole Star Trek Project. I imagine any show centered on Counselor Troi would be unwatchable — so this farce about a pre-arranged marriage is just awful. What’s worse is that a decent enough sci-fi conceit is just thrown away. A society with a communicable disease must confine itself to spaceships lest they infect other cultures. But that comes in at the end. Then there’s some kinda conclusion. I can’t even tell you what it is. All I know is that Troi doesn’t leave the Enterprise (shocker!) and everyone’s haircut is bad. When, when, when is TNG going to get good??! I must — I MUST soldier on through the remainder of this horrendous first season to get to season two!!
I went on StarTrek.com to see how bad it would be for you…sorry Jordan but you’ve got a few more stinkers to wade through before it gets better! Patience dear boy….

I can remember being at my grandparents’ house, flipping channels on the TV they kept in the kitchen, all excited that Trek was coming on. Then it would be one of these. Ugh.
