There’s a whole lot going on in this episode. A major diplomatic summit turns the Enterprise into a transport vehicle. And the dudes with the pig faces hate the Vulcans (particularly Spock’s father) who is framed for murder but is too busy dropping dead of heart failure and begrudgingly reconciling with his son to notice. Plus a mysterious ship is sending mysterious messages, a blue dude with antannae attacks Kirk on a quiet corridor (prompting Kirk to use a bounce-off-the-wall-elbow-drop move straight out of WWF) and Spock’s mother looks like she’s going to cry. It all works out in the end plus Dr. McCoy finally gets the last word.
