We Want Information:
Hi, welcome to JordanHoffman.com. I don't update this as much as I used to!I am a freelance movie critic and writer. My work can be read regularly at Film.com, ScreenCrush.com, The New York Daily News, Badass Digest, The Times of Israel and, once in a while, on Popular Mechanics.com. I also have a weekly column at StarTrek.com called One Trek Mind. I have also written for SlashFilm, MTV's Next Movie, About.com, IFC.com, io9.com, The Playlist, Mental Floss and probably some others that I can't recall. I was the movies channel editor at Hearst Digital's UGO.com for four-and-a-half years.
In previous times I was a a filmmaker and a licensed New York City tour guide. I also launched the Star Trek Project, which reviewed every television episode, film, most of the comics and some of the books.
I have a cat named Goober. In addition to cinema and science fiction his passions are mid-century jazz, exotic tea, dried pears and backgammon.
